My Life Today. Maybe Your Life Tomorrow.

Fri 9th Oct

Lincoln Poverty Truthers believe that inaccessible physical infrastructure and the push towards a digital society is holding communities and individuals back.

We have heard repeated stories of a lack of understanding, choice and human support.

This film has been designed, produced and delivered by people who have experience of an inaccessible Lincoln. A Lincoln that not everyone knows. A Lincoln of discrimination, isolated and exclusion.

The aim of the short film, with the contribution of local civic leaders and members of the public, is to shine a spotlight on these experiences and how we might better come together and find new solutions for a more fair and just future for everyone living with a disability.

“My condition does not make me disabled. Society makes me disabled.”

At the event, there will be space for human connection and exploration. Help us change the story of poverty and disability locally, and beyond.
