Dawn Richmond-Gordon, our Young Audiences & Engagement Producer launched our Online Youth Theatre this Friday, 3 April 2020. Normally at this time of year our fantastic group of creative teenagers would be working together towards their July show from one of our rehearsal rooms, but the coronavirus pandemic has understandably put a stop to that.

Following the UK Government announcement on Monday 16 March 2020 to step up measures to fight the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, reinforced by guidance from Arts Council England and UK Theatre/the Society of London Theatre, we have taken the decision to temporarily suspend Lincoln Performing Arts Centre’s programme of events and activities from today, Tuesday 17 March 2020.   We take the health and safety of our audiences, staff, freelance colleagues and partners very seriously and will continue to follow advice from UK Government as it is issued.

Summit Marketing and Venues Day A couple of weeks ago, I had the enormous pleasure of attending the Summit Marketing and Venues Day. This was a day set up by Fuel Theatre for all the venues on the tour to meet and discuss marketing plans but also get a better sense for the show in general.
