Summit Marketing and Venues Day A couple of weeks ago, I had the enormous pleasure of attending the Summit Marketing and Venues Day. This was a day set up by Fuel Theatre for all the venues on the tour to meet and discuss marketing plans but also get a better sense for the show in general.

Today marks one hundred years since the Representation of the People Act in 1918, the legislation that brought voting rights to all men and some women over the age of 30 and paved the way for full democratic equality and Universal Suffrage in 1928. Throughout 2018 the cultural calendar across the UK will be alive with events and activities that celebrate one hundred years of votes for women.

We are very pleased to announce our new season of events! We are starting off big with POP OUT Festival 2017; not only will we be welcoming the return of Paines Plough’s Roundabout outside our own venue, we will also be establishing a new performance space inside the Waterside Shopping Centre, bringing even more theatre to the heart of the city. And given that 2017 celebrates 800 years since the Charter of the Forest what better story to tell this Christmas than that of.
