The stage combat courses being held at LAC will cover preparation, technical skills and their use on stage and screen. This course is designed for people with no experience in Stage Combat up to experienced qualification holding levels. This workshop will give experience in the initial understanding of what stage combat is and how it is used on stage. We will be covering Health and Safety, footwork, weapon techniques and it examined on the last day by an examiner who is a working professional. Regardless of personal experience, these exams must be taken in the following order:

Standard level for participants with little or no experience, who have passed fewer than three ACTT Standard level exams;

Intermediate level for participants who have passed three Standard exams or a Basic exam with another organisation (proof will be required);

Advanced level for participants who have passed three intermediate exams;

Specialist level for participants who hold their Advanced qualification..
