Lincoln Book Festival’s Flash Fiction Competition Returns!
We’re delighted to announce that Lincoln Book Festival’s popular flash fiction competition is back for 2026! And we’re going all-in with this year’s theme – Hobbies.
From 3rd - 7th November, join us for the fifth year of our Climate Action Festival, a week dedicating to raising awareness on how you can take positive climate action in your community and further afield.
Our Community Clothes Swap will take residence in our Cafe Bar and will be stationed there for the whole week during the Climate Action Festival. Donate clothes you no longer want and maybe pick up a new outfit for yourself!
Fast fashion is one of the largest contributors to global warming and is responsible for 8–10% of global carbon emissions per year. Our aim is to unravel the fast fashion system that has been woven into our society and start making fashion more sustainable. Clothes swaps, chairty donations/ purchases, and upcycling of clothing are small changes that make a big difference.
We’ll be collecting donations towards the swap from Friday 31st October, please bring your donations to the Lincoln Arts Centre box office.
