Calling Artists, Creators, and Memory Makers! We’re in the midst of programming for our Spring 2027 season, yes we know Spring 2026 hasn’t even ended yet. What can we say, we’re organised. Titled Dear Earth: A Love Letter to Our Planet, this season invites work that explores our relationship with the world around us, from climate action and environmental responsibility to wider global stories, cultures, and perspectives that shape how we live, care, and coexist.
We’re looking for work that holds space for urgent conversations, but we’re equally interested in work that celebrates the beauty, resilience, and joy found across the globe, not just stories of crisis, but of hope, care, and possibility.
What Are We Looking For:
- Music events or gig theatre
- Online/ digital events
- Small scale children and family events (with a particular focus on 0-4 years)
- Works-In-Progress that can be presented as part of our Demo nights.
Why This? Why Now?
We are very much a data-decision driven organisation, our planet is dying and it’s our fault. The last decade has been noted as the hottest period of time in the last 125,000 years, 41% of the UK insect population face extinction, sea levels are rising and as an island the UK is suffering. More closer to home, we want to feed into the University of Lincoln aims of becoming a net zero carbon campus by 2040.
We feel that this is a particularly prevelant conversation in Lincoln, given the recent reframing of the local governments Green Masterplan and removing the target of net zero by 2050 for the city. Dear Earth is an opportunity to keep the conversation surrounding climate action in Lincoln going and reflecting how we as induvial can make active changes in our lives to help support the local environment.
How Do I Get Involved?
Submit your project or performance to our Open to Ideas portal, linked below, and we’ll be in touch. Submissions are reviewed regularly and we aim to respond to all.
If you select work-in-progress your work will be considered for Demo, our scratch nights that offer quick fire feedback from a live audience to support the development of your project.
We’ll be finalizing the Spring 2027 in August this year and will be launching the season officially with our Wind in the Willows production this festive period. If you have any questions about our Open to Ideas process or want to hear more about the season please get in touch.
