What do we actually know about arts engagement in Greater Lincolnshire?
Ever feel like you’re making creative, programming or funding decisions in the dark? You’re not alone, and this should help.
This new report draws on the UK’s largest cultural survey, the DCMS Participation Survey (2023–24), to provide a detailed picture of who is engaging with arts and culture, where, and how this varies across Greater Lincolnshire.
The analysis offers a robust, evidence-based view of cultural attendance and participation across districts, artforms and demographic groups.
In this one-hour session, we will share:
- Key patterns in arts attendance and participation
- How engagement varies across Greater Lincolnshire
- Where there are gaps, strengths and opportunities
- What the findings mean for programming, partnerships and investment
This isn’t theory. It is a free strategic toolkit that provides practical insight designed to support better-informed decisions across the cultural sector.
Pastries and coffee included and attendees are entitled to a free day of coworking at Barbican Creative Hub.
The report has been developed by Data Culture Change and commissioned by Centre for Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln via Barbican Creative Hub and Lincoln Arts Centre with funding from Arts Council England.
