Prescribing Change: From Vision to Action
An progress update from December 2025
Lincoln Arts Centre is calling on the public to help 1,000 children experience live arts for free this Autumn and for a limited time, every donation will be doubled. A local charitable foundation will match donations up to £5,000, instantly doubling the impact of every gift.
Part of the University of Lincoln, the Arts Centre’s Every Child initiative is at the heart of its Art of Becoming season, which celebrates transformation and creativity for young people. Nearly half of the Autumn programme is designed for families and young audiences, reinforcing Lincoln Arts Centre’s role as a cultural home for the next generation.
Ben Anderson, Artistic Director at Lincoln Arts Centre, said:
“Every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of live performance. This campaign removes barriers and opens space for imagination, self-expression, and joy. With your support, and while the match funding lasts, we can reach more young people than ever.”
Donate today via the ‘Support Us’ page on the Lincoln Arts Centre website. Schools can also contact the Centre to claim free tickets for pupils, with places available throughout the Autumn season.
It’s easy to donate.
This is the story of an ordinary dog who went on an extraordinary journey into space.
We are proud to announce the upcoming exhibition It’s All a Bit Wabi Sabi, presented by University of Lincoln first year Fine Art students. The exhibition brings together a diverse range of works curated within Project Space Plus, offering contemporary responses to Wabi Sabi drawn from its roots in Japanese philosophy.
A special celebration of our Year 6 pupils and their journey through school.
