Following the announcement of the Government’s roadmap for reopening, we thought we would update you on Lincoln Performing Arts Centre’s plans.
Whilst we welcome a timetable with clear milestones that show us the way forward, we do so with an air of cautious optimism.
It is clear that social distancing will be in place for indoor events until at least midsummer, but we acknowledge that this is a moveable timescale, dependent on many factors, and that any events scheduled for later in the year may be subject to restrictions that might necessitate further rescheduling.
Consequently, as we begin to put events on sale again for 2021, we would like to reaffirm our commitment to a money-back guarantee in the event COVID-related complications so that you can book with confidence.
As we begin to reopen, we will be taking time to make sure we do so in a way that keeps audiences as safe as possible. Our plans for the rest of 2021 currently include a summer programme of community-led performances, alongside popular family entertainment and outdoor performance in the city. We then hope to re-open our café and offer a regular programme of activity across all of our spaces from the autumn.
In the meantime, keep your eyes open for online events and workshops and some big announcements about the future for Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, and creative and cultural opportunities in the city.
Until then, take care and see you again soon!
All our love,
The LPAC Team
Evoke Dance Studios takes the audience to Broadway and the West End with an exciting high energy dance show. Taking you back to some classic musicals and to the present with new stage and screen favourites.
Summer of 1975, the Prince Don Pedro and his squadron of soldiers return from Vietnam to stay at the wealthy Leonato's house, and sparks fly between young soldier Claudio, and Leonato's daughter Hero. The group schemes to match Claudio with Hero, then to match soldier Benedick with his friendly rival Beatrice, Leonato's niece.
Involve yourself in a dynamic choir session filled with hope and light. Edwina Aggrey, the choir instructor for the day, will give the opportunity to go through vocal exercises, rehearse uplifting songs, refine harmonies, collaborate with fellow singers, and celebrate the joy of music together.
