We are committed to working with arts and non-arts based partners to develop co-commissions and new projects that challenge, inspire and delight participants and audiences. As a relatively small team, our activity is enhanced and supported through a network of partners and funders.
Our key partners are listed below together with some of the networks with whom we are currently working to maximise the reach and benefit of our activity locally and nationally:
The Centre for Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln
The Centre for Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln is a ‘think and do tank’, researching and leading on cultural programmes and creativity. We work closely with the centre and our sister organisations The Barbican Creative Hub to deliver on the ambitions of the Universities cultural strategy. We work alongside other cultural assets at the University of Lincoln including Siren Radio, and The Libraries Special Collection.
Lincolnshire NPOs Network
We work closely with NPO partners in the Greater Lincolnshire, exclusively on sector development to nurture a community of artists and creatives. Through our collective efforts we host events, meetings, and collaborate on joint funding bids, lobbying government with a strategic focus on themes including: commissioning and presentation, volunteering, children and young people and rurality.
Lincolnshire One Venues
We are delighted to be a member of Lincolnshire One Venues, a set of venues that support each other, share learning and enhance training opportunities for our respective staff teams.
Arts Organisations within Higher Education (UCAN UK)
Lincoln Arts Centre sits on the steering group of a dynamic network of arts organisations who share similarly linked university circumstances with members from across England, Scotland and Wales ranging from Pontio (Bangor, Wales) to the Warwick Arts Centre; Attenborough Arts Centre; Lancaster Arts to Kings Cultural Institute at Kings College London. Members unite universities with their constituencies, offering cultural corridors and pathways to creative participation, linking research and arts practice to create exciting innovation and building new audiences for the arts.
In Good Company
In Good Company is the flagship professional creative and business development programme for theatre makers and companies in the Midlands, providing mentorship, business support, resources and high-profile performance opportunities. In Good Company has transformed how artists and venues communicate and co-create exciting new performance platforms, commissions and touring networks.
CVAN East Midlands
