Lincoln Book Festival 2024

Welcome to the Lincoln Book Festival 2024. With a new festival hub established at the Lincoln Arts Centre at the University of Lincoln, the 2024 book festival will take place from 26-29 September, bringing big name authors and rising stars of the publishing world to the city for four days of engaging talks, readings, discussions, workshops and Q&As. This will be supplemented by a rich range of opportunities for people of all ages and interests to get involved in.

International Reading Group

Are you an avid reader? Do you enjoy book clubs? Then join International Students from the University of Lincoln to discuss a short extract from Zadie Smith’s short story collection, Grand Union (2019). The International College Reading Club is designed for staff and students who speak English as a second language.

The book festival will take place from 26-29 September, bringing big name authors and rising stars of the publishing world to the city for four days of engaging talks, readings, discussions, workshops and Q&As. There’s a rich variety of free and paid events and activities to enjoy too, including competitions, podcast talks, open mic style performance events and much more.

Dreamers, makers, thinkers, doers, and creators, you’re invited to the Artist Meet Up at Lincoln Arts Centre facilitated by the Barbican Creative Hub and SO Festival.
