When We Strike is a bold new punk-rock musical that brings the historic Match Girls’ strike of 1888 to life. Set in East London, it follows a group of tough, working-class girls who risk everything to challenge the brutal conditions at Bryant and May’s matchstick factory, exposing the deadly truths behind their labour. Fuelled by the raw energy of punk-rock, this powerful production is set to inspire audiences and spark debate about the fight for justice and the power to ignite change.
