This fiery new musical follows the story of five trailblazing women, all studying science at 1880s Girton College, Cambridge: physicist Hertha Ayrton, astronomer Annie Maunder, botanist Ethel Sargant, chemist Ida Freund and Lincoln’s own genius mathematician, Charlotte Scott.
As this unlikely crew fights fires of every kind, they realise they’re part of a bigger battle: for the right to equal education, to work, and to vote. Even if it means starting a few fires themselves…
