The organisation formally known as LPAC will be re-launched under a new name after a consultation which saw 260 students, staff and audience members co-design a new organisational vision and a plan for transformation in four key areas: People, Perception, Programme and Place.
The dust is settling on a 6-month intensive partnership with The Spark Arts for Children which culminated in the Vital Spark Symposium last week at Attenborough Arts Centre. INTER/her is an immersive installation and VR experience that focuses on post-reproductive diseases and pain over 40’s women or those with female organs experience. It’s an intimate, emotional and haunting experience that’s accompanied by a wearable haptic garment that provides a visceral vibration response on the lower body where the diseases, occur alongside a 3D audio soundscape of real personal accounts.
