We’re delighted to announce that Lincoln Book Festival’s popular flash fiction competition is back for 2026! And we’re going all-in with this year’s theme – Hobbies.
Overlooking the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon hosted a community of musicians through the 1960’s and 70’s forming a hive of creativity in the age of hippies and flower power.
Amongst Laurel Canyon’s residents were the likes of Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Eagles, The Doors and Joni Mitchell…
In the first half of this concert you will hear a live 6-piece band perform music from the artists listed above as well as many other Laurel Canyon residents during this time.
In the second half, the band will perform in its entirety Joni Mitchell’s 1971 album Blue. A songwriting masterclass, Blue includes some of Joni’s finest work including ‘Little Green’, ‘River’, ‘A Case of You’ and ‘California’.
Standard: £22 // Concessions: £17 // LIVE PASS: £15
