Led by gothic fiction specialist Dr Tim Rideout, Senior Lecturer in Victorian Literature Dr Claire O’Callaghan will be in conversation with bestselling author Essie Fox. O’Callaghan, who is also Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of the Brontë Society, examines the enigmatic author through an accessible, modern lens in her biography, Emily Brontë Reappraised.

And Fox will be introducing her latest novel Catherine – a hauntingly beautiful retelling of Wuthering Heights from the perspective of Catherine Earnshaw’s ghost.
