Demo Deconstructed is a series a workshops that run in parallel with our Demo events. The workshops are a chance for artists to explore, expand, and reignite their ideas for events, performances, and other creative outlets.
Have you ever wanted to perform at Demo Night but need a space to refine your ideas first? Or have you already showcased your work and want to explore ways to develop it further? The Demo Deconstructed Workshop offers an opportunity to share ideas, receive feedback, and collaborate in a supportive, creative, and informal environment.
This workshop is open to artists of all disciplines and abilities, as well as audience members who are eager to engage in the creative process. It is designed to help you reimagine your ideas and take your work forward.

What to bring
About the Facilitator
Cat Anderson is a Lincoln-based arts facilitator and creative producer with a keenness for artist development and supporting new work. With experience across various disciplines, she has worked with organisations such as UK New Artists, Sessions Arts, and Threshold Studios, and co-runs an LGBTQ+ arts magazine. Cat has curated exhibitions, including “Spare Me the Details” (2024), and currently works with the exhibitions team at the Hub, National Centre for Craft and Design. She is also a Trustee of the St Hues Foundation for the Arts. Holding an MA in Arts and Cultural Management, Cat adopts an artist-led, open, and encouraging approach in her workshops.
