8 Acts of Love, is an interactive exhibition experience inspired by outofsite_chi artist collective’s archive https://www.outofsitechicago.org/.
In a world of environmental catastrophe we want to use the power of creative arts and the renewable energy source that is our bodies to call for climate hope.
With just a few simple, repeated gestures we will transform Lincoln High Street into a plea for Climate Hope on the morning of Saturday 10 June and we want you to get involved.
Families, groups and individuals are welcome to learn our Climate Hope dance from an online tutorial and a selection of evening workshops at Lincoln Arts Centre led by dance artists from the University of Lincoln Dance Programme.
It is essential to attend at least one of the following two workshops, in order to learn the simple movement sequence. These workshops will take place on
Monday 5 June | 18:30 – 20:00
or/and
Tuesday 6 June | 18:30 – 20:00

Suitable for all, no dance experience needed. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is a partnership project with the University of Lincoln’s School of Creative Art’s Dance Programme, Local Motion and Lincoln City Council. This event will kickstart a week of engagement activities across the city as part of Great Big Green Week.

University of Lincoln Level 1 Musical Theatre students present Act 2 of this captivating musical revue of Rodgers & Hart’s greatest songs, which premiered on Broadway before its successful national tour, which celebrates the songwriting duo’s trove of romantic ballads and satiric gems. The event will begin with a 10-minute talk on the work of Rodgers & Hart from Professor Dominic Symonds.
