Inside Odds On is an Arts Council Funded installation and creative engagement project by Dante or Die touring UK high streets in Derby, Harlow, Wolverhampton, Rochdale and Lincoln in summer/autumn of 2024. At the heart of Inside Odds On is DoD’s award-winning interactive short film, Odds On, which transports audiences into the addictive world of online gambling through a fictional game: Pearls of Fortune.
The film Odds On provides a 40 minute simulated experience of gambling where audiences are put in the shoes of an older female as she battles the highs & lows of gambling. The film was created in consultation with people with lived experience of gambling harm through Gordon Moody gambling recovery centres throughout the UK.
There are a series of free workshops, panel discussions, special screenings and Q&As for you to take part in in addition to the virtual experience, and a launch event to kick off the project here in Lincoln.
