Job Opportunity: Routes In
We are recruiting for our third year of Routes In at Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub, funded by Arts Council England.
We are delighted to share our new Spring 2018 season of events with you.
Our new season brochure can be downloaded HERE and viewed online HERE, or you can pick up a paper copy from our box office.
2018 is our tenth anniversary year and to celebrate we have a fantastic range of activities lined up. Our birthday celebration is a chance to explore new possibilities, address challenges and develop different ways of placing our entire community at teh heart of what we do. This includes shows programmed by the community; initiatives such as £10,000 worth of free tickets, which will help to remove some of the financial barriers to engagement in the arts, and large-scale creative interventions in the city, such as Architects of Air’s beautiful luminarium, which joins us by the Brayford for Eggcite, Lincoln’s Easter Arts Festival for Children.
Literary scholars from University of Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste offer new ways to think about Jane Austen's fiction.
Following the session on self-publishing strategy, this informal networking time gives authors the chance to connect, share insights and continue the conversation. Discuss your publishing goals with fellow writers as well as industry experts.
An afternoon with Pulp guitarist Mark Webber, Paul Burgess (author of Hardcore: The Cinematic World of Pulp) and Guy Mankowski in which Pulp guitarist for their number one records More and Different Class will discuss his experiences alongside Burgess, who will exclusively share unseen film of Pulp.
