Special Programme on BBC Radio Lincolnshire this Friday

BBC Radio Lincolnshire will air its Friday afternoon show from Lincoln Performing Arts Centre between 1pm – 4pm, as part of a dedicated feature on the activity and expertise at the University of Lincoln’s School of Performing Arts.
The three-hour show will be hosted by Nicola Gilroy, who presents every afternoon on the station. The Nicola Gilroy Show features arts, entertainment and What’s On throughout the region.
This Friday, her show will promote what’s on at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre and explore the facilities, productions and research at the Lincoln School of Performing Arts, with a host of interviews with staff, students and graduates.
Coordinated by Conan Lawrence, Co-director of the Centre for Performance, Innovation and Evaluation and Senior Lecturer in the School of Performing Arts, the broadcast will take place as part of successful partnership with BBC Radio Lincolnshire, following the historic Dambusters performance at RAF Scampton earlier this year.
The performance saw University of Lincoln students perform as part of a collaboration with the Royal Air Force and BBC Radio Lincolnshire, before a televised commemoration of 617 Squadron and the famous Dambusters raid.
This Friday, the radio show will look ahead to future collaborations and focus on the impact, outreach and engagement of the School of Performing Arts, the integration of the School and the theatre, and the upcoming LPAC programme.
You can listen to the show on 94.9FM or online at
