An progress update from December 2025
Some of you may be following the work we’ve been doing on enhancing the contribution of creativity to transform the lives on young people in Lincolnshire through better integration with mental health services. We’d like to provide a brief update on this work. Since our Prescribing Change conference in September, we’ve been transforming the feedback and ideas from that day into a practical, fundable plan for youth-led social prescribing across Lincolnshire.
What We’ve Achieved
We’ve developed our Theory of Change, articulating our long-term vision and the impact we want to achieve – and translated it into a detailed delivery plan with clear timelines and responsibilities.
We’ve refined our pilot locations, taking a deep dive into local need, existing provision, and the rationale for prioritising specific communities where this work can make the greatest difference.
We’ve built realistic project budgets for both research and delivery phases that reflect the true scale and ambition of youth-led creative health work, including sustainability modelling for future years.
We’ve completed stakeholder mapping to identify key partners and strengthen collaboration across the system, and we’re assembling our Professional Advisory Board alongside distinctive Youth Steering Groups that centre young people’s voices in all decision-making.
We’ve also been meeting with health partners to explore how the programme integrates with existing services and systems, and we’ve mapped roles and capacity across the partnership to identify where new expertise will be essential.
Looking Ahead
In 2025, our focus shifts to the funding landscape. We’ll be working closely with funders to position the programme effectively and continuing to strengthen partnerships as we develop our full proposal.
This is youth-shaped social prescribing for Lincolnshire and we’re making it happen.
