New initiative announced to provide Routes-In to the industry.

Lincoln Arts Centre introduces two brand new job roles as part of innovative scheme to develop people's skills and kick start their career in the creative industry.

With support from Arts Council England Lincoln Arts Centre is creating pathways into the industry through job opportunities in digital marketing or technical theatre.

Working at the home to the next generation of artists and artistic ideas, post holders will be fully supported in their role at Lincoln Arts Centre. In addition, post holders will be able to work with partner organisations across the city including Zest Theatre, Threshold Studios and the brand new Barbican Creative Hub. This is an opportunity for artists to find and define their creative space in Lincolnshire, turbo charge their networks, and to begin a long and fruitful career locally.

Ben Anderson, Creative and Executive Director of Lincoln Arts Centre states, “We’re interested in what you bring as an individual and your lived experience, in addition to any employment experience you have. Maybe you don’t know much about ‘the arts’ (Yet!) but you are definitely interested in bringing your skills and your passion to our team. We would need you to work hard, be proactive and look for ways to be helpful, and to be able to spot things you think could be done different.”

Applications are open now, and applicants have 6 weeks to apply. In that time, we are holding Q&A sessions on the role (online and in-person) and the Lincoln Arts Centre team are available to talk further with prospective applicants. Just check Our team page, linked at the bottom of this article, to find all our staff emails so any question can be answered.
