Spring 2025: Home is Where the Art Is
Greater Lincolnshire is defined by its heritage past, and in recent years increasingly by its welcoming nature. We have welcomed international students, migrant workers and people seeking refuge.
We are recruiting for our second year of Routes In at Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub, funded by Arts Council England.
Are you passionate about the arts? Are you interested in working in an arts organisation? Are you looking for a job where you can learn and level up your skills in an encouraging environment? Routes in is designed specifically for you. Created to offer routes into the creative industries that previously may not have been accessible, if you want to learn, grow and kick start your career, apply to Routes In today!
Working at these organisations, post holders will be fully supported in their role. This is an opportunity for artists to find and define their creative space in Lincolnshire, turbo charge their networks, and to begin a long and fruitful career locally.
Mohammad Abuzar, who is coming towards the end of his Routes In position reflected on his time with us here: “Lincoln Arts Centre has truly transformed my office experience, making every minute enjoyable and unforgettable. I’ve never encountered such a unique blend of professionalism and fun.”
Ben Anderson, Creative and Executive Director of Lincoln Arts Centre states, “We’re interested in what you bring as an individual and your lived experience, in addition to any employment experience you have. Maybe you don’t know much about ‘the arts’ (Yet!) but you are interested in bringing your skills and your passion to our team. We would need you to work hard, be proactive and look for ways to be helpful, and to be able to spot things you think could be done different.”
