We are recruiting for our second year of Routes In at Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub, funded by Arts Council England.
Are you passionate about the arts? Are you interested in working in an arts organisation? Are you looking for a job where you can learn and level up your skills in an encouraging environment? Routes in is designed specifically for you. Created to offer routes into the creative industries that previously may not have been accessible, if you want to learn, grow and kick start your career, apply to Routes In today!
Working at these organisations, post holders will be fully supported in their role. This is an opportunity for artists to find and define their creative space in Lincolnshire, turbo charge their networks, and to begin a long and fruitful career locally.

Ben Anderson, Creative and Executive Director of Lincoln Arts Centre states, “We’re interested in what you bring as an individual and your lived experience, in addition to any employment experience you have. Maybe you don’t know much about ‘the arts’ (Yet!) but you are interested in bringing your skills and your passion to our team. We would need you to work hard, be proactive and look for ways to be helpful, and to be able to spot things you think could be done different.”
Applications are open now, and applicants have 6 weeks to apply, the deadline to apply is 23rd September 2024. In that time, we are holding Q&A sessions on the role online and the Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub team are available to talk further with prospective applicants. As part of Reimagining Lincolnshire, this illustrated talk celebrates lesser-known Lincolnshire women of long ago, who devoted their lives to campaigning for the rights of all women.
Celebrating 20 years of the Danielle Rawlinson School Of Dance And Theatre with fabulous performances showcasing our pupils talent and hard work. An energetic performance full of various dance styles and musical theatre.
Overlooking the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon hosted a community of musicians through the 1960’s and 70’s forming a hive of creativity in the age of hippies and flower power. Amongst Laurel Canyon’s residents were the likes of Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Eagles, The Doors and Joni Mitchell.
