Home Is Where The Art Is

Greater Lincolnshire is defined by its rich heritage and welcoming nature, having embraced international students, migrant workers, and refugees. Our "Home Is Where the Art Is" season celebrates this diversity through performance, digital, and visual art, exploring the meaning of home. We kick off with a Community Film Screening on January 17, highlighting local voluntary organisations, followed by BFI screenings and the Indie Lincs film festival. The season features two exhibitions: "Toil and Trouble," showcasing live art creation (Feb 20 - Mar 6), and "Community Resilience," celebrating neurodivergent communities (Apr 14 - 27). We also host two conferences in Spring 2025 in collaboration with the Barbican Creative Hub, along with opportunities for emerging artists to present their work. Highlights include Maison Foo's "A Seat at Our Table" (Mar 6-7) and various original commissions. We invite you our home.

Future Perspectives 2025

The Barbican Creative Hub is hosting a one-day conference focussed on a creative response to the climate crisis. This event will explore diverse perspectives and a multidisciplinary approach, with thought-leaders in circular, bio-design, regenerative, slow, and de-growth practices.

Stage Combat 2025

A two-and-a-half-day intensive Sword course designed for people with no or little experience all the way up to those with industry recognised qualifications in stage combat. We will be doing an introduction to Single Sword, the foundation of stage combat sword work.
