A day long event focused on social prescribing, with a spotlight on young people’s voices and their mental health and wellbeing.
Lincoln Arts Centre is the University of Lincoln’s public arts centre. As part of our regular programming, we champion social prescribing in Lincolnshire and nationally.
Social prescribing, also known as community referral, is a way for healthcare professionals to connect patients with non-medical support services in their community to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
This day-long event will focus on social prescribing with a spotlight on young people’s voices and their mental health and wellbeing.
But it’s not just about talking, we’re prioritising ambitious bid writing and collaborative project development, creating space for organisations to respond to recent funding challenges with renewed energy and shared purpose.
What to expect:
- High quality creative performances (indoor and outdoor)
- Young people’s insights and lived experience
- Honest conversations and peer-to-peer support
- Space to build partnerships and shape collective bids for the future
- Connections with senior colleagues in the NHS, academia, and the arts
Whether you’re a creative health practitioner, policy maker, community leader, or young person shaping your own path – this is a space for you.
