Our Community Clothes Swap will take residence in our Cafe Bar and will be stationed their for the whole week during the Climate Action Festival. Donate clothes you no longer want and maybe pick up a new outfit for yourself!
Fast fashion is one of the largest contributors to global warming and is responsible for 8–10% of global carbon emissions per year. Our aim is to unravel the fast fashion system that has been woven into our society and start making fashion more sustainable. Clothes swaps, chairty donations/ purchases, and upcycling of clothing are small changes that make a big difference.
We’ll be collecting donations towards the swap from Friday 15th November, please bring your donations to the Lincoln Arts Centre box office.
