Are you a Lincolnshire based adult Hobbyist Actor looking for a space to train, keep your existing skills in check whilst also learning new ones? Then Actors Gym presented by Acting Lincs is the place for you.
With weekly meetings for Hobbyist Actors, The Actors Gym offers a drama school standard environment to train breathing & voice technique, focus and creativity, stagecraft, building a character and script work. Each session will be lead by theatre producer and director Lee Waddingham who has thirty years industry experience having worked with Oscar, BAFTA & Olivier Award winners. Using the teachings of Stanislavski and Meisner, The Actors Gym will focus on finding a truth within your acting both for stage and for screen.

The organisation formally known as LPAC will be re-launched under a new name after a consultation which saw 260 students, staff and audience members co-design a new organisational vision and a plan for transformation in four key areas: People, Perception, Programme and Place.
We are recruiting for our second year of Routes In at Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub, funded by Arts Council England.
The book festival will take place from 26-29 September, bringing big name authors and rising stars of the publishing world to the city for four days of engaging talks, readings, discussions, workshops and Q&As. There’s a rich variety of free and paid events and activities to enjoy too, including competitions, podcast talks, open mic style performance events and much more
