One Tenth Human

One Tenth Human is an Award-winning Theatre company on a mission to empower children by telling stories that challenge them and us to consider their own potential. In their work they explore the myths and expectations within science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

‘because we know that these subjects come with powerful and dangerous cultural baggage; and that many children reach adulthood believing these subjects are not for “people like them”.’

One Tenth Human was created by artistic director Sarah Punshon, inspired by the year she spent working at the Natural History Museum, collaborating with scientists and museum professionals to create interactive events for family visitors.

One Tenth Human was commissioned by the Lincoln Arts Centre to present their touring production ‘Curious Investigators’ (October 2024). They continue to tour across the UK to inspire their audiences. Some of their recent productions also include ‘The Light Bulb Princess’, ‘So Unfair’ and ‘Cinderella the Awesome Truth’.
