Sheep Soup hails from the globally-renowned, BAFTA award-winning Television Workshop, the Midlands training ground that counts Vicky McClure, Bella Ramsey and Jack O’Connell among its glittering roster of alumni.

Collaboration is at the core of the work, bringing artists together from a huge range of performance fields to create truly original and inspiring live performance. Sheep Soup specialise in telling stories set where music happens naturally… front rooms, open mic nights, recording studios.. all featuring multi-skilled actor-musicians live on stage.      

Sheep Soup’s work has been supported by funding from Arts Council England on three different projects, won slots at two BEAM musical theatre showcases, and the company has been mentored by Nikolai Foster. Sheep Soup have been finalists in the New Diorama Edinburgh Untapped award, and the Styles & Drewe New Song Prize.
