Haptiv is a Nottingham based company founded in 2021 by Rachel Elderkin & Rob McNeill. Through Haptiv, we combine our collective body of experience in dance, immersive theatre/site-responsive practices & writing, with an interest in creating projects that use immersive media to enhance the experience of both live performance & site-based interventions. 

The key objective of our company is to co-create & facilitate projects between local communities & freelance artists, with a focus on placemaking and storytelling through embodied practice. We believe the production of public space interventions can act as a catalyst for change, giving voice to communities & transforming underused public spaces. We want to bring awareness to the importance of sustainable practice that supports wellbeing for both people and the environment.
