Creative Programmes Assistant

Are you organised, proactive, and excited to get involved in the world of arts administration?

Lincoln Arts Centre is part of the University of Lincoln, and is a vibrant space dedicated to contemporary performance and visual arts. We’re committed to developing new talent, encouraging innovation, and supporting the next generation of artists.

Barbican Creative Hub is a newly refurbished creative industries hub where creative practice, collaboration, and new ideas come to life.

We are looking for a Creative Programmes Assistant to join our team.

This is a great entry-level role perfect for someone starting their career. You’ll be working closely with our leadership team, helping to support exciting projects across Lincolnshire, and playing a key role in keeping everything running smoothly. You’ll also have the chance to work with various cultural organisations within the University, contributing to the wider arts community.

These roles are designed for someone at the beginning of their career and we strongly recommend people from underrepresented groups and backgrounds to apply. This includes, but is in no way limited to, people from the global majority, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, people who are disabled, people who are neurodiverse, or any other underrepresented group and background. You must be 18 years old or over to apply, but there is no top age limit for those who can apply and we encourage people of any age, and know that early career doesn’t necessarily mean young. We recognise that previous barriers to work mean you may not have taken a traditional career route.
