In response to new national lockdown restrictions which are due to come into force on Thursday 5 November, the performance by Aakash Odedra 2, which was scheduled for Saturday 7 November on the University of Lincoln campus outside LPAC has now been moved online.
Whether you’re a LSFPA student thinking of joining Aakash Odedra 2 or simply want to enjoy some much-needed art in your lockdown life then now is your chance to see the style of work the company creates and performs. Aakash Odedra 2 will be auditioning for dancers from the @UniLincolnLSFPA to form the new cohort of this pre-professional graduate dance company. With lockdown well under way the outdoor performances planned @universityoflincoln will now go online. On Fri 6 November, 5.30pm the company will be premiering this new work. Overlooking the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon hosted a community of musicians through the 1960’s and 70’s forming a hive of creativity in the age of hippies and flower power. Amongst Laurel Canyon’s residents were the likes of Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Eagles, The Doors and Joni Mitchell.
