Job Opportunity: Routes In
We are recruiting for our fourth year of Routes In at Lincoln Arts Centre and Barbican Creative Hub, funded by Arts Council England.
We’ve refreshed our Artistic Policy for 2026–2028, helping shape the next phase of programming at Lincoln Arts Centre and guiding the kinds of ideas we’re looking to welcome through our Open to Ideas process.
Lincoln Arts Centre remains committed to being a home for the next generation of artists and artistic ideas. That might mean introducing someone to their first experience of live performance, supporting an artist’s professional debut, or presenting bold new concepts and perspectives on stage.
We want our spaces to be places where people can learn, make, debate and create together, and where artistic work can inspire, challenge and delight audiences.
As we look ahead to the coming seasons, we’re placing particular focus on three areas of programming:
Artists and companies are welcome to share finished work, works in progress, or early-stage ideas through our Open to Ideas portal.
Projects identified as works in progress may also be considered for Demo, our scratch night format where up to three artists or companies share a 20-minute extract and receive live audience feedback.
