2026: Ideas We Hope Stick

As we head into a new year, we’ve been thinking about 2026. Not in a crystal-ball kind of way, but in a practical, roll-your-sleeves-up kind of way. These are some* of our wishes for 2026.

Better mental health outcomes for young people – through creativity.
Artists, young people and clinicians working side by side, because creativity belongs in the mental health conversation.

Affordable live performance for under-30s – without compromise.
We’re growing our Live Pass and keeping prices low, so more young people can experience brilliant work without cost being a barrier.

New work made in Lincoln, with artists properly supported.
We’re commissioning contemporary artwork and performance, improving conditions for artists, and creating more space to make work locally. The aim is ambitious work that earns national and international attention, tours to places that need it most, and supports more artists to work directly with students.

High-quality family creativity that’s free or affordable.
Through our Every Child scheme, we’re aiming to raise even more funds to subsidise tickets, workshops and school-holiday activity. Cost should never be the reason a child misses out.

More people can get a career in arts.
Our Routes In scheme expands to make a living more viable for more people, imagine the magic that is untapped with potential paired up with practice in organisations across Greater Lincolnshire.

These aren’t distant hopes. They’re ideas in motion, and in 2026, we move.

* We say only some because our ambition is limitless, and we’ve got oodles of ideas.
