Lincoln Book Festival 2023: Crime and Passion (12 October) – Author Withdrawal
Regrettably, Harper Ford (aka Rebecca Mascull) has had to withdraw from Lincoln Book Festival’s ‘Crime and Passion’ guest author event scheduled for Thursday 12 October 2023, due to illness. Philippa East will still be joining the event as guest author, and tickets remain valid. However, if you have purchased a ticket and would prefer to be refunded, please email hello@lincolnbookfestival.org prior to the event start.
Philippa East is a Lincolnshire-based practising clinical psychologist who also writes suspense thrillers with ‘subtle intelligence and quiet menace’ (Daily Mail). Her first book, Little White Lies, was shortlisted for the CWA John Creasey New Blood Dagger Award. Her latest, I’ll Never Tell, describes the perfect family, dedicated to helping their daughter achieve her dreams as a talented violinist, but then she goes missing…
Harper Ford’s debut romcom Divorced Not Dead is a no-holds-barred, heartfelt and hilarious story set mainly on Lincoln’s Steep Hill: kick-ass 50-something Frankie is newly single and decidedly back on the dating scene! Harper also writes historical fiction as Rebecca Mascull and saga novels as Mollie Walton. She is a Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund based at the University of Lincoln and lives in the east of the county.
