The organisation formally known as LPAC will be re-launched under a new name after a consultation which saw 260 students, staff and audience members co-design a new organisational vision and a plan for transformation in four key areas: People, Perception, Programme and Place.
Christy Lefteri is the international bestselling author of The Beekeeper of Aleppo and Songbirds. Set against the backdrop of the forest fires in Greece, her dazzling new novel, The Book of Fire, tells of one family’s struggle to recover from trauma after their world goes up in flames. Intimate and epic, sweeping and delicate, it explores not only the damage wrought by human folly and greed but also – and ultimately – our powers of renewal and redemption. Brought up in London of Cypriot refugees, Christy is a lecturer in creative writing at Brunel University.
